About Darla Salay

Darla Salay brings a genuine warmth and dedication to her role as a real estate agent with the Coastal Living Real Estate Group. With 25 years of experience as a teacher and early childhood school administrator, she has mastered the art of helping people feel valued and comfortable. Her approach is rooted in her background in education, where she learned to listen actively and empathize with diverse needs and concerns. Darla’s shift to real estate is a natural progression of her commitment to helping people and her lifelong passion for Long Beach Island. Since fulfilling her dream of purchasing a home in Beach Haven eight years ago, she has been managing her rental property, where her exceptional hospitality and attention to detail have earned her high praise from guests. Darla has a strong connection to the Beach Haven community. She completed her yoga teacher training in Beach Haven and has taught yoga locally both in the studio and on the beach. This involvement has strengthened her ties to the community and allowed her to build relationships with local residents and visitors. Never being away from LBI for long, she spends most weekends on the island with her husband, friends, and her two Shih Tzus. Along with her real estate license, she holds her doctoral degree from Drexel University. She is excited to be a part of the Coastal Living team!
